So much is happening in India all the time, everywhere, that the most absurd action flows seamlessly in the stream of daily activity. With the help of the tenants inside, I threaded a clothesline between two buildings and strung a sawhorse across—creating the illusion of a flying sawhorse, morphing the horsefly and the sawhorse.
